Hicks are the former
owners of Chalet
By-The-Lake Bed and Breakfast, which has been closed for two years.
We lived at Maple Lake for 11 years and enjoyed opening our
home as a B&B to our guests during the final five years.
Two years ago we relocated 15 km East of Maple Lake to the outskirts of the
village of Haliburton, where we have opened our home as another bed and
breakfast called, Chalet
In-The-Woods Bed and Breakfast.
Thanks to the
hundreds of guests from near and all over the world
who have stayed with us. Many of you have become our friends. We
are
looking forward to seeing you again at our new location here in
Haliburton village.
Harley and Higgins Westie—now 12-years old—are still chasing squirrels
and are always excited when welcoming our guests.
